Workshop „PC at the maximum“ - spring course
Course Summary: In the course, we will learn about computers and basic concepts. In detail, we will describe the mouse and keyboard, explain the concepts of folders and files and learn how to work with a USB flash disc. We will also focus on how to use the Internet. For example, how to search the web, download pictures, set up an email account and much more. The course is free.
The course run from 11 March - 20 May 2024, 9:00 - 10:30 a.m.

Virtual University of the Tird Age
Motto: "Teaching comes to the senior citizens".
Today, people live to retirement age in good physical and mental health. One of the reasons for this is an active lifestyle and the opportunity for education.
The study of VU3V brings the senior citizens new knowledge and full time spent and a sense of self-esteem, success in family and friends and social aspect. But not only that, participants can expand their knowledge and share practical skills and experiences through regular meetings together.
During the lecture, students watch a video lecture followed by a discussion on the topic. At the end of the lecture, students can test their knowledge by taking a test that they complete together. Students receive a printed syllabus. Thanks to the availability of the individual lectures on the website www.e-senior.cz , students can watch the lectures at home.
VU3V is open to citizens of the Czech Republic entitled to a retirement pension, disability pensioners, regardless of age.
